Underfloor Heating for Carpet Using:- Heat Pak for Under Carpet Heating

Heat-Pak combined with our Carbon heating film makes a complete electric underfloor heating system, specifically designed for vinyl flooring (such as Amtico & Karndean) as well as carpets and carpet tiles. Most problems surrounding Underfloor Heating and Carpet has been heat distribution, Heat-Pak solves this, by conducting the heat and giving an even distribution, perfect for Carpets and Vinyl's. Some companies recommend using Plywood as a cheaper alternative, but Plywood is actually an insulator therefore preventing some of the heat from heating your floor. where Heat-Pak is a conductor of heat allowing the heat to be evenly distributed. Also Heat-Pak will not warp or twist like a grained Plywood.

Recent tests by the Underfloor Heating Association and the Carpet Foundation both found Underfloor Heating under Carpet is very successfully, see both reports above.

The system comprised of a cushioning, insulating underlay, a thin heating film, moisture barrier & a revolutionary 2-layer 'floating' overlay board. see image >>

The heating system is extremely thin & only increases the floor height by 14mm, making it convenient for most renovations.
